How much can I get?
The commission paid to the Buyer's agent averages 2.5% of the sales price and it's paid by the seller.
When we get paid at least 2.5%, we will give you part of our commission based on the following schedule:
Sale price Commission rebate
$500,000 & above 25%
Between $400,001 & $499,999 20%
Between $100,000 & $400,000 15%
For example; a home priced at $500,000 X 2.5% = $12,500 (our commission) x 25% = $3,125.00 paid to you.
As you can see the rebates can be substantial...
Why do we share our commission with you?
You do some of the work, we pay you! With the use of the internet and Multiple Listing Service, MLS, it is much easier and faster for a buyer to search for and buy a home.
It used to be a buyer would have to contact a Real Estate agent to find a house. The agent would spend many hours and days driving the buyer around and showing them homes.
Today, on the internet and with the MLS, you can just about find any house you want without ever leaving the comfort of your home. In the past this data was limited to Realtor®s only.
We'll enter your home requirement criteria in the MLS database, and every time and as soon as a home meeting your criteria comes into the MLS an email is automatically sent to you with the home information.
We will send you detailed listings (complete with pictures) of ALL MLS properties that match your home buying criteria.
So instead of having a Realtor® drag you from house to house wasting your time showing you many homes that don't interest you... Our system allows you to pick the homes you want to view.
You get instant updates of all new home listings that match your criteria FREE of charge. You get first pick of homes that interest you and the ability to beat other buyers to an offer.
To sign up just fill out the "Looking to Buy" form below and we'll get back to you asap!
Why didn't my last agent give me anything back?
You'll have to ask him or her...
Will I have to pay a higher price in order to get the rebate?
Not at all. The sales price is determined by the buyer and the seller. It is arrived at through negotiation. After the sales price has been determined, then the dollar amount of the commission paid to the agents is determined.
What if a home we like is not in the MLS?
If the home you want is not listed in the MLS, we'll call the owner and if they'll pay us at least 2.75%, we'll give you your rebate.
Can I get a rebate if I buy a NEW home from a Builder?
Absolutely. We'll give you a rebate if the Builder cooperates with Real Estate agents and pays us a commission of at least 2.75%**.
If you see a NEW home you would like to buy or have built, before you register with the Builder, inform them that you are working with a Real Estate agent and show them our Business Card.
Sometimes the Builder requires the agent to be present in order to register with them. If that is the case, simply call us and we will meet you at the Builder's office and register.
We suggest you call the Builder in advance and ask them if they cooperate with agents and about their registration procedure.
Some Builders don't allow any rebates to the buyer being that they may pay for some of your closing costs or provide other incentives.
To be eligible for the rebate just agree to a "Buyer Rebate" agreement with Quest Realty Services .
All rebates must be disclosed to and approved by all interested parties to the transaction.
